Pregnancy & Child Loss
Darwin
A space for the grief no one prepares you for.
Pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neonatal loss, child loss, and Pregnancy After Loss can bring a depth of grief that is often invisible or misunderstood. These experiences can feel isolating, overwhelming, or disorienting — especially when others don’t know what to say or how to support you.
My role is to offer a confidential, steady space where your grief is acknowledged, your story is held with care, and nothing is too much or too complicated to bring.
I offer in‑person counselling in Darwin and online support across Australia.
Types of Loss Supported
Every experience of loss is unique. I support people navigating:
miscarriage (including recurrent loss)
ectopic pregnancy
termination for any reason
termination for medical reasons (TFMR)
stillbirth
neonatal loss
infant or child loss
historical or complex loss
twin or multiple pregnancy loss
Pregnancy After Loss (PAL)
Your experience may not fit neatly into a category. You are still welcome here.
Pregnancy After Loss
Pregnancy After Loss often brings a complex mix of hope, fear, uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion. Together, we work gently with:
anxiety and hypervigilance
navigating appointments, scans, and milestones
holding grief and hope at the same time
supporting your nervous system
staying connected to yourself and your values
This is a space where you don’t need to minimise your experience or “stay positive.” You get to be honest about what this journey is like.
My approach is grounded in:
trauma‑informed social work practice
grief‑specific therapeutic frameworks
somatic and embodied awareness
nervous system regulation
a pace that honours your capacity
Sessions are spacious, steady, and centred on what feels manageable for you.
There is no expectation to be “strong,” to move quickly, or to make meaning before you’re ready.
What this space offers
a confidential, compassionate environment
grief‑literate support from a senior clinician
somatic and body‑based practices to support regulation
space to speak freely without needing to protect others
support for partners or support people if needed
online or in‑person options
You are welcome to bring your whole experience — the parts that feel clear, the parts that feel confusing, and the parts you’ve never said out loud.
