I am an Accredited Social Worker (Honours by Research) with over 20 years’ experience supporting people through grief, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. My counselling practice is steady, relational, and grounded in a deep respect for each person’s story and capacity.
I offer both in‑person counselling in Darwin and online sessions across Australia.
Grief and change can take many forms. Alongside my specialised work in pregnancy and child loss, I support people navigating:
bereavement of any kind
traumatic or unexpected loss
relationship changes or separation
identity shifts
burnout and chronic stress
major life transitions
These experiences can feel overwhelming, disorienting, or isolating. Counselling offers a steady space to make sense of what’s happening, to feel supported, and to move at a pace that feels manageable.
Our bodies often hold what our minds cannot yet name. In counselling, I pay attention not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to the subtle signals of the nervous system — breath, tension, posture, overwhelm, and moments of ease.
Drawing on my background as a somatic practitioner and yoga teacher, I offer gentle practices such as grounding, breath awareness, and mindful attention. These are always invitational and are used to support:
nervous system regulation
emotional steadiness
a sense of safety
the capacity to stay connected to yourself during difficult moments
This approach is accessible, paced, and tailored to your needs.
I work intentionally with a small number of clients so I can be fully present in the therapeutic relationship. This allows me to offer thoughtful, personalised support and to ensure each person feels genuinely held.
My practice is:
steady and relational
paced and collaborative
grief‑literate and trauma‑informed
grounded in nervous‑system awareness
I bring particular experience in grief, pregnancy loss, child loss, and Pregnancy After Loss (PAL), alongside broader support for trauma, stress, and life transitions.
